Chinese Drywall Investigations

Defective/Chinese drywall refers to an environmental health issue involving defective drywall manufactured in China and imported to the United States from 2001-2009. Residents living in homes built in the years included could suffer issues like respiratory irritation, sulfur odors and some metals corrosion. Individuals exposed to sulfur compounds at the levels estimated from Chinese drywall may be associated with such effects as: Headaches, irritated eyes, nose, throat, and tiring or problems controlling respiratory conditions (asthma).
